We are opening our farm to visitors!
Starting in July 2026, we are offering u-pick roadside flowers. We believe it’s good for the soul to walk through a flower field and pick your own bouquet. We will post updates on our Facebook/Instagram pages to let everyone know when we are open for the season. Larger groups (4+) or those looking for event flowers are encouraged to pre-book through Airbnb Experiences.
Our 2026 U-Pick is located at the front of our property. We are planting an array of sunflowers, zinnias, snapdragons, cosmos, and dahlias. Our little farmstand is equipped with a cash box and venmo for payment, shears, water, and plastic cups. We ask 50 cents per stem on the honor system.
Here’s What You Need to Know:
- Our stand is self-serve accepting cash, Venmo or Paypal. We might not be able to provide change and we may not be available to assist. My cell number is on the stand if you need help.
- We provide disposable containers, snippers and water, but you’re welcome to bring your own.
- Be sure to wear appropriate footwear for potentially wet fields.
- Sunglasses, water bottles, hats, and sunscreen can make our sunny fields a lot more enjoyable.
- Some people enjoy wearing gloves and/or bug repellent. Please be aware that we welcome pollinators of all types but some of them sting!
- Well-behaved kids are always welcome, but please note that flowers picked by little hands still count.
- We welcome you to take photos of the flowers and your experience on the farm to share with your friends. #tenderfootfarm. We ask for a $5 photo donation if you’re just here to snap pics. If you want to have a photoshoot, please contact us separately!
- We have a lot of farm creatures already and are located on a busy road! Please keep your pets in your vehicle.
