Natural Wool Yarn: White Dorset Horn

Wool from our heritage breed sheep, processed and spun at Battenkill Mills. Each skein is worsted weight yarn, 2-ply, with 176 yards. The wool comes from our heritage breed sheep, Dorset Horn, listed as “threatened” by the Livestock Conservancy. It is medium-grade wool with a springy texture, ideal for socks, hats, mittens, and needlework projects. Custom dye requests accepted.
